Retractile Cables are suitable for all data transmission, security and sensor applications. These specially formed POF cables expand to their full working length, allow for movement, and retract to their minimum working length as needed. They ensure flexibility, neatness, organization and a clean design with the benefits of low cost and simple terminations of plastic optical fiber. In addition the ability to use a single POF Retractile Cord to span multiple patch cord lengths assists in inventory and cost management.
This cable is suitable for working distances of .1 to .6 meters and is fabricated from high quality Eska Premier™ GH4001 plastic optical fiber cable. The GH4001 is and industrial temperature range fiber cable featuring a low attenuation, industry standard 1.0 mm diameter core with the standard 2.2 mm outside diameter.
